The Singing String

Paisley Smith has magic that she does not want, generationally tied to her maternal family line. When her family moves to a new town—one of six in her short thirteen years of life—Paisley discovers a new and horrible magic that could steal her magic and uproot her family for good. What will Paisley do when faced with the decision to give up or keep her generational heritage? Will she be able to use her unwanted magic to fight for the mother, father, and little brother that love her magic more than she does? What happens when everything she thought she knew about her abilities are tested by magic more ancient than anything she's ever known?

This is an ongoing project and hopefully my debut novel! It is a middle grade fantasy novel with ties to Christian traditions, but I hope for it to be accessible to all readers! I am very excited about this piece and I hope to share more soon!
